The DT Swiss XRC 1501 SPLINE ONE wheels are designed specifically for performance-oriented XC riders and also meet the high demands of racing use.

Lightweight carbon rims with an internal width of 30 mm provide ideal support for modern XC tires. The wheels use proven and extremely reliable DT Swiss 240 hubs with RATCHET EXP freehub body, which are also proven in racing conditions.

Thanks to the precise construction of the wheel, high-quality spokes made with cold forging technology and a reliable engagement system, the energy of each engagement is effectively transferred to forward movement. The result is a light, powerful and reliable wheel ready for demanding XC trails and races.

The rim profiles were specially designed for tubeless use. They ensure the optimal settlement of the tire and the easiest possible assembly. The wheel can also be used with a classic combination of casing and tube.

Lightweight carbon rim with a width of 30 mm

Carbon allows DT Swiss to produce 30mm wide rims that provide the ideal support for modern tires. They allow lower pressure to be used, which helps reduce rolling resistance on uneven surfaces.

The wheels stand out due to the low weight of the carbon rims and their low moment of inertia, which contributes to fast acceleration and precise control.

High stiffness and low weight

Due to the higher stiffness of the carbon rim compared to the aluminum one, the extremely light DT Competition Race spokes can be used, which ensure optimal stiffness of the entire wheel.

The spikes have a diameter of only 1.6 mm in the central part. This design allows for further weight reduction without a negative impact on the durability of the wheel.

Nipple DT Pro Lock

DT Pro Lock nipples help to prevent spontaneous loosening of the connection between the nipple and the tip. A patented two-component glue is injected into the thread of the nipple, which makes it possible to create an extremely durable thread.

After screwing in the tip, the glue is activated and then completely hardens. The re-centering of the wheel is possible without any problems, while the effect of the glue decreases slightly with each subsequent centering.

DT Swiss hubs - No-Tool system

DT Swiss hubs are known for their No-Tool system, which allows conversion to common axle and freehub body standards without the need for tools. All DT Swiss hubs with the Ratchet System allow rebuilding.

Ratchet System – reliable power transmission

The advantage of the Ratchet System is the simultaneous engagement of all teeth of both ratchet rings with each engagement. Unlike classic cartridges with latches, where the contact area is smaller, the Ratchet System uses the entire front surface of the engagement.

This reduces the point load on individual teeth and achieves high reliability and a long service life of the hubs.
