MT Trail Sport – the ticket to 100% trail performance

New model Magura MT Trail Sport expands the MT brake family and builds on the successful MT Trail concept. It uses a combination of four pistons in the front and two pistons in the rear.

This system has proven itself especially in All-Mountain and Enduro riding, as well as on the increasingly popular electric bikes (E-MTB). The MT Trail Sport model brings this technology at a more attractive price.

Four pistons in the front caliper ensure maximum braking performance, while two pistons at the rear provide excellent dosing of braking force. The ergonomic shorter HC lever enables full braking power to be achieved with just one finger.

Magura MT Trail Sport technologies

Carbotecture®

It is a combination of high-quality polymers and carbon or glass fibers. The special Carboflow production process achieves optimal arrangement of the fibers according to the required load of the component.

Compared to classic aluminum, Carbotecture® offers a significant advantage – it is up to 50% lighter with comparable tensile and fracture strength.

MagnetiXchange

The technology enables quick and easy replacement of brake pads. Magnetic pistons ensure their correct seating in the brake caliper.

EBT - Easy Bleed Technology

Technology enabling quick and easy brake bleeding.

Shift Mix (optional accessory)

Using the Magura Shift Mix adapters, a Shimano (Shiftmix 1 + 2 / I-Spec I + II) or SRAM (Shiftmix 3 / X9, X0, XX) shifter can be mounted directly on the brake lever. The result is a cleaner and clearer bicycle cockpit.

Remote Mix (optional accessory)

The Magura Remote Mix mount allows the RCL² remote control of Magura suspension forks to be attached directly to the brake lever. Installation is possible on both sides.

Technical notices

• Brakes are supplied filled with brake fluid and bled, ready for installation.

• It is necessary to observe the maximum permitted diameter of the brake disc of the frame and the fork.

• Adapters and brake discs are not part of the package.

• The brake hoses can be easily shortened to the required length.
