The design of the Shimano XTR RT-MT900 brake disc is the next stage of development of a successful design ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA. While for discs with a diameter of 140 mm and 160 mm, the additional weight reduction of 5 g, respectively, is particularly attractive. 10 g, 180 mm and 203 mm versions are characterized by further improvement of heat dissipation by 20 °C during demanding tests and at the same time lower weight (for 203 mm up to 30 g).
